Extra crispy, great contrast Stenton & Graham, Butte, Montana, mounted photograph of members of the Henry Lawton Camp, United Spanish War Veterans. Most of the members in the photo are Montana Volunteers and some are other soldiers from all across the county who migrated to Butte to work in the mines or a business in Butte. Large size, 8 1/2 by 10 1/2 inch picture.

Early 1890s Sailor Image
One of my earliest photographs of a USN Sailor. The photo is 3 3/4 by 5 3/4 mounted on a 5 1/2 by 8 inch board. Board is a bit soiled and the corners are rounded but it is solid. The photo is solid, nice color contrast. Unidentified studio, 1890s battleship backdrop. Written on the reverse; Mr. E.A. Murphy, Newark, NJ.

Captioned mounted photograph; Gen Miller, Reviewing 4th Cavallry at Presidio, Most likely a shot of the Regiment in 1898 prior to shipping off for service in the Philippines. Immediate front is the 4th Cavalry Band and B Toop on the right side. Actual photo size is; 3 1/4 by 8 inches on a backing board that measures; 5 1/2 by 10 inches. Quality studio pose of an officer in the 1st Montana Volunteer Infantry taken in San Francisco, probably in 1899 when the Regiment returned from the Philippines. 2nd Lt Andrew Swaney, Company H. Note the Montana militia buttons on the coat and the white enamel 8th Corps badge. Clear, sharp photo, great contrast. The actual photo is; 3 3/4 by 5 3/8 inch and the mat is larger. SOLD
