Very nice original conditon. Large hardback 8 x 10 1/2 inch format, 142 pages. "Company B of Davenport" by George Cook, Printed for Company B by the Democrat Co, Davenport, Iowa, 1899. The Regiment was the 50th Iowa Volunteers. Just a little wear on the corners as seen in the photo.

Very nice above average condition Campaigning in the Philippines by Hicks and Judd. 1st Ediition 1899. The history of the 1st Nebraska Volunteers and roster is included in this volume. Nice cover, tight binding, no tears or missing pages. A soldier from the 1st Nebraska is credited with firing the first shot of the Philippine Insurrection on February 5th, 1899.
